Effective date: August 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Klawiter Group, LLC d/b/a Klawiter ("Klawiter," "we," "us") collects when you visit klawiter.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
klawiter.com is a marketing and portfolio site. It does not sell anything. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no payments. The only way you can deliberately give us information is by filling out a contact form.
When you submit one of our contact forms, we collect what you type into it. Depending on the form, that includes your name, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
You choose what to put in these fields. We do not require information we do not need.
When you visit the site, our analytics and marketing tools collect information about your visit. This includes your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or search that referred you.
This happens through cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies and tracking below.
This is the part most privacy policies leave out, so we want to be direct about it.
We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management system. HubSpot includes a data enrichment feature that automatically adds business information to contact records. When you submit a form, HubSpot matches your name and business email address against its own commercial datasets, third-party data providers, and publicly available web sources, and appends information you did not give us.
That appended information is business and firmographic in nature. It typically includes your employer, your job title, your company's industry, its approximate size, and its approximate revenue range.
We did not collect this from you. We obtained it from HubSpot. You are entitled to know it exists, to ask what we hold, and to ask us to delete it. See Your choices below.
We use what we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes. We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
We share information with the service providers that operate the site and our business systems. Each of them is bound by its own agreement with us and processes information on our behalf.
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Contact forms, CRM, visitor tracking, data enrichment | Form submissions, browsing activity on our site, and the enriched business data described above |
| Google Analytics | Site traffic analytics | IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed |
| Google Tag Manager | Loads and manages the tags above | Technical request data |
| Google Fonts | Serves typefaces used on the site | IP address, browser information |
| Google Maps | Map embed on the contact page | IP address, browser information |
| Adobe Sign | E-signature widget on the Space Plans on Tap℠ authorization form | Signer name, email address, signature |
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts the site | Technical request data, including IP address |
Beyond these providers, we disclose information only if we are legally required to — for example, in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The site uses them for analytics and to recognize returning visitors.
The cookies you are most likely to encounter are:
__hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, __hsrc — set by HubSpot, used to recognize returning visitors and associate site activity with a contact record_ga and a related _ga_ identifier — set by Google Analytics, used to distinguish visitors and measure trafficYou can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work. Some measurement will simply not happen.
You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google's browser add-on.
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it.
This site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. Our analytics and marketing tools continue to collect information as described above regardless of whether the signal is sent.
The third-party services listed above may collect information about your online activity over time and across websites other than ours. Google and HubSpot both operate across large numbers of sites and may recognize the same browser in more than one place. We do not control that, and we do not receive that cross-site information.
We keep contact records indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. We would rather tell you that plainly than describe a retention schedule we do not actually run.
If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it — see below.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' own retention settings.
You can ask us what we hold about you. Email info@klawiter.com and we will tell you what is in your contact record, including the enriched business information HubSpot appended.
You can ask us to delete it. Email the same address. We will delete your contact record in HubSpot, including enriched fields, and confirm when it is done.
You can ask us to correct it. Enrichment data is automated and is sometimes wrong. Tell us and we will fix it.
You can stop hearing from us. Any email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and it works.
We are not required by law to offer access and deletion — Klawiter is below the size thresholds that trigger those obligations under California law. We offer them because we think you should have them.
Klawiter is not a "business" as that term is defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, because we do not meet any of the law's thresholds for revenue, consumer volume, or revenue derived from selling personal information. We are not claiming otherwise.
We do comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act, which applies to us regardless of our size. This policy is our disclosure under that law. The rights described under Your choices above are available to you whether or not you live in California.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email info@klawiter.com and we will delete it.
We rely on the security practices of the providers listed above, all of which are established vendors with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we handle your information, we will post the updated policy here and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page for a reasonable period after they take effect.
